Growing Garlic – part one

Growing garlic is easy. All you need is garlic sections for seeds.  Plant seeds  in the fall about 6 to 8 inches deep.     Early spring they will grow and will be about three feet tall.  About mid June  a seed pod will sprout from the center of the stalk. This pod usually starts off straight and then curves.  The pod is at the tip of the stalk.  It is best to cut them off since you want to reserve all your energy going into your garlic, instead of the side pod.

Other then weeding this is the only maintenance needed before harvesting.   By cutting off the seed pods your garlic will be larger.  Enjoy the video.
